Johnson City, NY — Summers in the Southern Tier are special times for the entire community, and the staff at the Schorr Family Firehouse Stage and Goodwill Theatre are prepared to make this summer one to remember. Once again, Goodwill Theatre will be taking their popular acts outdoors.

“This is probably our favorite time of the year,” says CEO Naima Kradjian. “We’re fortunate that we get to take advantage of the beautiful weather the Southern Tier gets to enjoy in the summer, all while bringing some amazing events and acts inside the tent to keep everyone entertained. We’ll have something for everyone this year, and there will be acts for the whole family to enjoy once we’re up and running.”

The outdoor season will kick off with Trivia Night with a Touch of Broadway on Tuesday, June 7th beginning at 7:00 p.m. Trivia night will be hosted by Larry Kassan from the Rod Serling School of Fine Arts. Tickets are $10.

Later in June, the first musical performance will be A Band Called Honalee, a modern folk music trio paying tribute to Peter Paul & Mary, onstage Thursday, June 23rd at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $25; or $20 for senior citizens and students.
